Peggle Extreme is a free spin-off puzzle video game developed by PopCap Games exclusively for Valve Corporation, and released worldwide September 11, 2007, for PC. The graphics for this installment are somewhat disturbing and, as described by Bjorn, “full of nightmarish creatures”. Although it's an official game, all of its content is non-canon.
The game features ten levels and fifteen challenges, which are all inspired by games from Valve Corporation. This spin-off also features some of the sounds from Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Team Fortress 2, and Portal.
Synopsis
Mayday! The Peggle Institute has been invaded by a host of other-worldly creatures.
Now it's up to you, Peggle Master, to report to duty and shoot and bounce the critters to oblivion. Take your best shot with energizing arcade fun, now exclusively themed with art and sounds from The Orange Box![1]
